Borussia Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc has revealed that it is not beyond the realms of possibility for coach Jurgen Klopp to return at some point in the future.
Klopp is coming toward the end of his seven-year spell as speculation mounts that a switch to the Premier League is on the cards, with Liverpool and Manchester City reportedly keen.
The 47-year-old has helped raise the club's profile again in recent years by leading Dortmund to back-to-back Bundesliga titles, along with a Champions League final place in 2013.
Consequently, Zorc refuses to close the door on a potential return. When asked if it could materialise, he told reporters: "Why not?
"Maybe not in the immediate future, but Jurgen's still a pretty young coach so why shouldn't he come back to Dortmund? There's nothing to say he won't."
Former Mainz 05 coach Thomas Tuchel will replace Klopp at Signal Iduna Park in the summer.
