Borussia Dortmund beat Wolfsburg 2-0 to reach the final of the DFB-Pokal.

Borussia Dortmund have booked their place in the DFB-Pokal final with a 2-0 win over Wolfsburg in their semi-final this evening.

The home fans marked the 25th anniversary of the Hillsborough disaster, singing a chorus of 'You'll Never Walk Alone' before kickoff.

Ivan Perisic had the ball in the back of the net after just three minutes, but the goal was disallowed after he was ruled to have fouled Roman Weidenfeller in the build up.

Dortmund soon found their way into the match and managed to take the lead after 12 minutes, when Henrikh Mkhitaryan fired the ball home from outside the box.

Kevin de Bruyne, Perisic and Naldo all had chances to find an equaliser for the visitors, but Jurgen Klopp's side defended well to keep themselves in front.

The hosts were able to double their lead just before the break when Robert Lewandowski curled the ball into the top corner from a Marco Reus cross, claiming his 100th goal for the club.

Lewandowski remained a threat early in the second half as he struck the post less than five minutes after the restart, before having a goal ruled out for offside.

The Polish striker turned provider as Dortmund continued to press for a third, but Kevin Grosskreutz could only head over from Lewandowski's delivery.

Junior Malanda and Perisic continued to provide a threat for Wolfsburg, but the former forced two saved from Weidenfeller in the space of a minute, leaving the visitors two goals down heading into the final 10 minutes.

However, Dortmund kept possession in the closing stages to prevent their opponents getting back into contention late on, setting up a final against either Bayern Munich or FC Kaiserslautern.
