Celtic make one change ahead of their Champions League Group C clash at Borussia Monchengladbach, with Cristian Gamboa replacing Jozo Simunovic in defence.

Celtic have made one change from Saturday's 1-0 win over Aberdeen ahead of Tuesday night's Champions League Group C clash at Borussia Monchengladbach.

Jozo Simunovic's injury means that Cristian Gamboa is drafted into the Hoops' starting XI in Germany.

With Kolo Toure picking up an injury of his own, Mikael Lustig shifts to centre-back to make room for Gamboa on the right.

The hosts, meanwhile, make two changes from the goalless draw against Frankfurt four days ago.

Thorgan Hazard has passed a fitness test to return to midfield after missing the game against Celtic last month in Glasgow.

Tobias Strobl has also recovered from injury in time to feature, but Brazilian striker Raffael is not yet deemed fit enough to return and has to make do with a place on the bench.

Borussia Monchengladbach: Sommer, Vestergaard, Strobl, Kramer, Hazard, Stindl, Wendt, Johnson, Korb, Hahn, Elvedi
Subs: Sippel, Herrmann, Dahoud, Raffael, Schulz, Hofmann, Jantschke

Celtic: Gordon, Gamboa, Lustig, Sviatchenko, Izaguirre, Brown, Armstrong, Forrest, Rogic, Sinclair, Dembele
Subs: Bitton, Ciftci, Boyata, de Vries, Roberts, McGregor, Henderson
