Borussia Monchengladbach goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen has insisted that his side did not deserve to lose 2-1 to Nuremberg on Sunday.
He said that the early penalty from which Timmy Simons scored should not have been given and that things did not go their way.
"We deserved at least a draw, so we're disappointed to have lost," Stegen told the club's official website.
"Nuremberg took the lead with a penalty that never was one."
Monchengladbach are just outside the European places in seventh in the Bundesliga.
