A 91st-minute own goal from Seamus Coleman saw Bournemouth record a 2-1 victory over Everton in Saturday's Premier League clash at the Vitality Stadium.
Beto looked to have secured a late point for Everton, as he cancelled out an opener from Dominic Solanke, but Coleman turned into the back of his own net in the final stages to hand the home side all three points.
The result has left Bournemouth 13th in the table, boasting 38 points from 29 matches, while Everton sit 16th, three points clear of the relegation zone in England's top flight.
Bournemouth were the brighter of the two teams early on, with Antoine Semenyo bringing a smart save from Jordan Pickford in the third minute with an effort from the edge of the box.
Pickford was again called into action in the sixth minute to keep out a flick from Justin Kluivert, before Dominic Calvert-Lewin had a goal-bound strike blocked in the 13th minute, with Everton just starting to find their feet after a slow start to the contest.
Semenyo continued to look dangerous for Bournemouth, and he had another opportunity in the 24th minute, heading over the crossbar from close range.
Everton's first real sight of the Bournemouth goal came just past the half-hour mark, with Calvert-Lewin finding himself in a shooting position, but the striker's effort was kept out by Cherries goalkeeper Neto.
An even first period did not produce a goal, with Pickford keeping out Bournemouth's two attempts on target, while Neto proved to be equal to Everton's best chance, which came for Calvert-Lewin.
Pickford was again called into action early in the second half to keep out a strike from Marcus Tavernier, with the Cherries forcing the issue in search of the opening goal of the match.
Bournemouth continued to look the more likely to make the breakthrough, but Everton came so close to scoring on the hour, with Dwight McNeil striking the post from close range.
The Cherries scored the game's all-important first goal in the 64th minute through Solanke, who headed a cross from substitute Lloyd Kelly into the back of the net.
