How Brazil could line up against Peru

Sports Mole looks at how Brazil could line up in their Copa America semi-final with Peru.

Brazil will be unable to call upon Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus for their Copa America semi-final with Chile, as the 24-year-old was sent off in the quarter-final success over Chile.

Lucas Paqueta scored the only goal of the contest in the final eight, and the Lyon attacker could now come in for a start in a wide area, but head coach Tite is not expected to make changes elsewhere.

As a result, Fred and Casemiro could again line up in the middle of the park, with Fabinho starting on the bench, while Danilo could retain his spot at right-back following a strong defensive performance against Chile.

Neymar is a certainty in the final third of the field, while Richarlison and Roberto Firmino should also keep their spots from the first whistle, despite the presence of Everton, Gabriel Barbosa and Vinicius Junior.

Tite has a big decision to make between the sticks, but Ederson was given the nod over Alisson Becker for the clash with Chile, and the Manchester City stopper could retain his spot here.

Elsewhere, Eder Militao might have to accept a spot on the bench once again, with Thiago Silva set to continue alongside Marquinhos in the middle of the defence and Renan Lodi featuring at left-back once again.

Tite has plenty of options for change all over the park, though, and it might well be a match where both benches play a huge part in the final outcome of the affair in Rio de Janeiro.

Brazil possible starting lineup: Ederson; Danilo, Marquinhos, T Silva, Lodi; Casemiro, Fred; Paqueta, Firmino, Richarlison; Neymar
