Brentford boss Mark Warburton believes that defender Jake Bidwell can continue to improve as a player after the club's promotion to the Championship.
Bidwell has signed a new three-year deal with the Bees just a year after joining from Everton, and Warburton, who has 17 wins from 27 matches since taking charge in December, has revealed that the left-back's new contract is reward for his performances during the last campaign.
The 51-year-old told the club's official website: "Jake is a very talented young player and an outstanding professional.
"This new contract is just reward for his performances last season. We are looking forward to watching Jake continue to develop and perform in the Championship."
The 21-year-old made 41 appearances in all competitions last season.
