Brentford boss Uwe Rosler has confirmed that the club have agreed a deal with an unnamed striker.
It is understood that the forward will join on a loan basis with the option of a permanent move at the end of the season.
"A player will be coming in. I do not want to give his name until the paperwork is signed. Everything is agreed but the papers are not signed," Rosler told Sky Sports News.
Brentford currently occupy ninth spot in the League One table.
