Brighton & Hove Albion head coach Nathan Jones has praised his side's attitude in today's FA Cup clash away at Port Vale.
The Seagulls battled to a 3-1 win amid testing conditions at Vale Park, thanks to goals from Rohan Ince, Solly March and Jonathan Obika.
Jones told reporters: "It was a difficult cup tie – a good cup tie in fact – and I think we are very pleased with the attitude, very pleased with the performance and, more than anything, very pleased with the result.
"We believe in the players we have. They are in the squad for a reason."
The Seagulls' next game is also on the road, as they head to East Lancashire on Tuesday to take on Burnley in the Championship.
