The agent of Groningen defender Virgil van Dijk has confirmed that his client is attracting the interest of a host of English clubs.
Brighton & Hove Albion had a bid rejected for the 21-year-old last week, but are expected to return with a new offer for the highly-rated Dutchman.
Hen-Maarten Chin told Dagblad van het Noorden: "I expect Brighton can make another approach. Virgil is the type of defender who would fit in well in England.
"There is much more interest for him than has emerged so far. There is some from Germany but mainly it's from English clubs."
Everton have also been credited with an interest in the defender.
