Bristol City are through to the Southern area final of the Football League Trophy after a 2-0 win over Coventry City this evening.
Goals from Derrick Williams and Aaron Wilbraham gave the League One leaders the victory at Ashton Gate.
Williams opened the scoring when he got on the end of a free kick to head home from close range, before the visitors had a penalty appeal waved away shortly after.
Wilbraham made the result safe with 15 minutes to go when he rose highest to power a Luke Freeman cross past Coventry keeper Ryan Allsop.
