Chris Woods has continued his fine start to life at Leicester City by bagging a first-half hat-trick against Bristol City this afternoon.
The 21-year-old, who has now scored six goals for the Foxes since signing from Millwall earlier this month, broke the deadlock at Ashton Gate after just 11 minutes when he fired home from 18 yards following a neat cross by Ben Marshall.
Wood doubled his side's advantage seven minutes later, capitalising on a weak punch by Robins goalkeeper Dean Gerken before finishing well from close range.
He completed his hat-trick on 41 minutes with a precise effort from just outside the penalty area.
Leicester, who are on course to record their fourth consecutive victory, could climb to third in the Championship table today if results elsewhere go their way.
