Bristol City forward Callum Robinson has admitted that his side must quickly re-adapt to the demands of Championship football.
The Robins marked their return to the second tier with a 2-0 defeat away at Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday.
After storming to the League One title last term, on-loan star Robinson believes that City's style of play will come good in the long term.
"In League One, it's a bit like 'you have it, we have it' whereas there is more quality in this league and there's more possession," he told the club's official website.
"If you lose it you're not going to get it back so quick so you have to learn. We tried to keep the ball and break them down. Unfortunately it didn't work [on Saturday], but I think it will in the long term."
Steve Cotterill's men return to action in midweek with a trip to Luton Town in the opening round of the League Cup.
