Bristol City are holding Sheffield Wednesday to a goalless draw at half time at Hillsborough in their first Championship fixture.
After a quiet start Lewis McGugan, Atdhe Nuhiu and Marco Matias combined well to carve out a half-chance for Wednesday, but City goalkeeper Frank Fielding was quick to clear the danger.
Fielding was called into action again midway through the half when he kept out Nuhiu's effort from Matias's cross, before the best chance of the half fell to City's Luke Freeman.
The midfielder collected the ball on the edge of the Wednesday box and drilled a low effort inches wide of goal.
Ross Wallace then picked out Matias in the Robins box, but the midfielder failed to properly connect with his half-volley and it remained level at half time.
