A second-half hat-trick in just 12 minutes from Bristol Rovers striker Matt Taylor gave Darrell Clarke's side a much-needed win at the Memorial Stadium this evening.
Taylor tested Matt Ingram with an early shot from the edge of the box, before Wycombe's Sam Wood struck the post at the other end.
Rory Gaffney carved out an excellent chance for Taylor just after the half-hour mark, but the striker could only drag his effort wide of goal.
The home side took the lead on the hour mark when Taylor smashed home from a clever set piece routine.
The striker doubled the lead just two minutes later when he deceived Ingram in the Wycombe goal with a quickly-taken free kick.
Taylor then completed his hat-trick on 72 minutes to end his side's run of three games without a win.
