Nottingham Forest have failed to break the deadlock in the opening 45 minutes of their trip to Burnley.
The travelling side took a stronghold in the game in the early stages of the contest through a corner, taken left-footed by Chris Cohen, who swung the ball into the box only for Ben Mee to make a vital clearance.
Minutes later, Jason Shackell brought down Dexter Blackstock to give away a free kick to the away team. Andy Reid hovered over the set piece and drove his shot from the right channel, but Lee Grant had enough sight on the ball to make the save.
The away side continued to knock on the door through Lewis McGugan, who forced a save from Grant, but they were unable to snatch a goal before the end of the half.
Burnley managed to cause trouble from a corner towards the closing stages of the first 45 minutes, but Billy Sharp was there to clear the danger.
