Sean Dyche has praised Burnley's "togetherness and team spirit" following their 2-0 win over Doncaster Rovers this evening.
Sam Vokes scored from the penalty spot in the first half before Rovers defender Rob Jones turned the ball into his own net just before full time.
The manager told BBC Radio 5 live: "The back five were terrific again tonight and they're the base from which we work as a team. And we have got a threat as a team. These are really good signs but, and it is a cliche, it is one game at a time.
"We won't get too carried away, though we'll enjoy it of course. We spoke with the group in the summer about what we thought we would need to do to be competitive. We've got a real togetherness and team spirit.
"Teams that I played in where we did well were galvanised as a group. As a group they've been fantastic in the way they have taken that into performances."
The win has moved Burnley to the top of the Championship table.
