Burnley boss Sean Dyche has praised his players for working hard to improve their poor start to the Premier League season.
The Clarets moved out of the relegation zone over the weekend as they picked up a third win in six games with a 1-0 victory over Southampton.
While he admits that there is still plenty of work to be done, Dyche believes that his side can be proud of the points that they have earned in recent weeks.
He told Sky Sports News: "We've worked very hard to where we have got to so far. We've been happy with the progress made.
"We have put ourselves in a good position at the moment. We've got some good performances and some good points on the table, but there are no guarantees going forward.
"We know we've got some awkward games coming up and some big games coming up, but we are looking forward to them because we want that challenge."
Burnley are back in Premier League action on Saturday when they face Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane.
