Burnley manager Sean Dyche has insisted that his players deserve plenty of credit for securing a 2-1 victory away at Rotherham United on Friday night.
Goals from Andre Gray and Sam Vokes, either side of a 25-yard strike from Grant Ward, were enough to earn the Clarets three points, and Dyche was full of praise for his players after the victory at the New York Stadium.
The 44-year-old is quoted by BBC Sport as saying: "There has got to be credit to them. Sometimes the hardest fight is the one that every thinks you're going to win, but I thought we deserved it overall.
"They kept fighting, they kept pressing, they pressed very hard, they gave everything to try and win. They get a worldy out of the blue and all of a sudden it's 'what's gone on there?'
"I am delighted with the mentality of the players; it rubs off on each other."
The result has lifted Burnley into third position in the Championship table.
