Burnley manager Sean Dyche has claimed that Danny Ings must take the pressure off his own shoulders if he is to rediscover his clinical touch in front of goal.
Ings, who has scored nine times in his debut Premier League season, has failed to find the net in his last seven appearances and Dyche believes that the 22-year-old needs to get back to enjoying himself.
"Danny puts a lot of demand on himself," the Clarets boss told reporters. "That can be a weakness as well as a strength.
"You can't get inside someone, it's down to them to play with that freedom. I want players to play that way.
"It has to be a balance and enjoy it. I've told him he's best when he plays with a smile on his face."
Burnley, who currently occupy 19th spot, travel to Goodison Park to face Everton on Saturday afternoon.
