Burnley midfielder Jack Cork has claimed that his team were confident of sneaking to victory over Newcastle United on Monday night.
On Sean Dyche's five-year anniversary at the club, the Clarets earned a 1-0 triumph over the Magpies at Turf Moor.
The hosts had to wait until the 74th minute to get that all-important goal, and it came from Jeff Hendrick, who netted his second Premier League strike of the season.
"We knew they take risks on the ball, they play out and we knew we could nick it from them. That's where the goal came from," BBC Sport quotes Cork as saying.
"I'm tired now, we work hard and cover some ground. You can see that we are a team evolving. Sean Dyche has been great for me. he's a man who wants hard work and honesty at all times."
The result has moved Burnley up to seventh in the league table.
