Burnley goalkeeper Brian Jensen has insisted that he has no desire to call time on his career.
Recent reports have suggested that the 37-year-old was considering hanging up his gloves at the end of the current campaign.
However, the Dane has revealed that no plans are in place for him to retire and he has instead turned his attention to earning a new contract at Turf Moor.
"I am not at all ready to retire. I want to keep playing for many years," he told langebolde.dk. "I don't know if I'll be the oldest ever, but I'll keep on playing until my body tells me to quit. At the moment I'm fine.
"I've heard that the manager is interested in an extension. We'll have to wait and see. I don't get to decide. I'm at an age now where you can hope for two years at the most but where one season is the common thing."
Jensen joined the Clarets from West Bromwich Albion in 2003.
