Burnley winger Michael Kightly has admitted that it is a "great feeling" for his side to earn promotion to the Premier League.
The Clarets were forced to battle until the third last game of the season to secure their place in the top flight for the next campaign, as they defeated Wigan Athletic 2-0 at Turf Moor.
Kightly told BBC Sport: "Obviously it's a great feeling, it's been a long season but we thoroughly deserve it. We'll enjoy today, then crack on next year.
"We never got complacent, we always stuck to the job. The boys have been different class and the fans have been magnificent."
The 28-year-old has scored four goals for Sean Dyche's side in 34 appearances in the Championship this season.
