New Burnley signing Matthew Lowton has insisted that there is plenty of positivity around the squad that he has joined.
In May, the Clarets were relegated after just one season in the Premier League.
However, Lowton, who arrived at Turf Moor from Aston Villa, has stressed that there has been no sign of any disappointment among his new teammates.
"I experienced relegation myself at Sheffield United, it's tough to take but there's nothing you can do about it now. The main thing is starting pre-season and the season off right," the 26-year-old told the Lancashire Evening Telegraph.
"The lads all seem together. Everyone's around each other and there's a great spirit so hopefully we can use that to get points. The first day I came in everyone was welcoming and upbeat and ready to go."
Sean Dyche's men are due to begin their 2015-16 Championship campaign away at Leeds United on Saturday, August 8.
