Burnley interim boss Mike Jackson has been named as the Premier League's manager of the month for April.
The 48-year-old replaced the sacked Sean Dyche in the dugout following the 2-0 defeat to Norwich City back on April 10.
As well as the loss at Carrow Road, Dyche also oversaw the 2-0 defeat at home to Manchester City and the 3-2 victory over Everton at Turf Moor during the month prior to his sacking.
Jackson began his temporary reign with an impressive 1-1 draw at European hopefuls West Ham United on April 17, before recording three successive victories to finish the month with 10 points from his four games in charge.
After stepping up from his role as Burnley Under-23's coach, Jackson became the first Burnley boss to go unbeaten in his first four games in the top flight in the process.
As a result, the Clarets boss has been selected as the league's manager of the month ahead of Brentford's Thomas Frank, Man City's Pep Guardiola and Liverpool's Jurgen Klopp.
The impressive set of results has seen Burnley climb out of the relegation places in recent weeks, although they remain level on points with Leeds United in the bottom three ahead of their trip to Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday. body check tags ::
