Wolves head coach Nuno Espirito Santo is looking to bookend the international break with another clean sheet against Burnley on Sunday.
A first shutout of the season two weeks ago brought Wolves their first Premier League win of the campaign against West Ham.
Nuno believes that first clean sheet at the London Stadium gives his players a target to aim for in their remaining matches and he has called for a repeat when the Clarets visit Molineux.
"The standard we achieved in previous games we have to do again on Sunday. We achieved the first clean sheet against West Ham," he said.
"That must be the first step, a clean sheet, you're always closer to winning a game if you have a clean sheet. Let's keep our defensive organisation, our intensity of duels, all these aspects.
"We as a team have a lot of things to improve. We have to be more clinical. We can think about our talents, style, the way we achieve and create chances is good, now but let's make it better."
It had been suggested the international break might have come at the wrong time for Wolves, on the back of them breaking their duck at West Ham. But Nuno insisted they were prepared for it.
However, the Portuguese believes Burnley could be boosted by the break after a poor start to the season.
The Clarets have already played 10 games this season due to their Europa League exploits, but Sean Dyche's team remain without a victory this campaign.
Nuno said: "We expected the break, it was in the schedule. This cycle in the beginning of the season, when you have a focus of getting in a European competition, you know it is hard to maintain the same standards in both competitions so I think the international break was good for them.
"Sean for sure had a moment to work on that team and go back over what they did so good last season so Sunday I am expecting a tough game."
Wolves could be without Raul Jimenez against Burnley after the forward sustained a muscle injury while away on international duty with Mexico.
Portuguese winger Ivan Cavaleiro is yet to play this campaign due to a back problem and he will remain out.
