Burnley goalkeeper Nick Pope has reflected on the recent defeat against Leicester City.
The Clarets were beaten 2-0 by the Foxes in their latest Premier League outing, with James Maddison and Jamie Vardy scoring in the final 10 minutes of the match.
The defeat left the club 18th in the division, after only winning three games so far, but they remain just one point adrift of safety, and Burnley have games in hand over several of the teams near them.
"We are disappointed in the end to come away with nothing. We will pick ourselves up, we are on a good trend and playing some good football. We could have done a bit more, but we have to pull ourselves together and go again on Saturday," Pope told the press.
"I feel in a good place at the minute and feel like the team is as well. I feel part of a team that is going in the right direction performance-wise. I think we are progressing each week, it (Leicester) was a bit of a setback, but you are never going to go the rest of the season unbeaten."
The Clarets will be back in action on Saturday when they face Chelsea in the Premier League. body check tags ::
