Burnley defender Steven Reid has claimed that his side are motivated to survive in the Premier League to disprove the "perception" that they are certainties to be relegated.
The Clarets, promoted from the Championship last season, currently sit five points from safety at the bottom of the table after losing 1-0 at Leicester City on Saturday.
Reid told BBC Sport: "We've almost been underdogs all season. There's been a perception that Burnley will come straight back down. But that gives you motivation.
"I've been in dressing rooms where there are points targets on the board. But under Sean Dyche the message is each game at a time."
Burnley face West Ham United and Hull City away before hosting Stoke City, and then travel to Aston Villa on the final day of the season.
