An Andre Gray brace has given Burnley all three points in their Turf Moor clash against Bolton Wanderers.
The most significant moment of a goalless first half was Joey Barton's yellow card, received thanks to a late challenge on Arsenal loanee Wellington Silva.
Gray fired Burnley in front with 10 minutes gone in the second half, pouncing on a rebound as Ben Amos kept out two Clarets efforts but not the third.
Sean Dyche brought on former Wanderers player Matt Taylor in place of George Boyd for the final 25 minutes of the tie.
Gray recorded a brace, with his sixth Championship strike of the season, soon afterwards as he smashed past Amos after being supplied with the ball by Scott Arfield.
Dyche's side move to fifth place in the table, only behind Birmingham City, Reading and Middlesbrough due to goal difference.
