Fabio da Silva: 'I believe in Cardiff City ambitions'

Defender Fabio da Silva reveals that he is confident Cardiff City can secure an immediate return to the Premier League.

Cardiff City defender Fabio da Silva has indicated that he sees his future at the Bluebirds after revealing that he believes in the club's targets for the future.

Fabio was part of the Cardiff squad that suffered relegation to the Championship last season, but the former Manchester United full-back is confident that they can earn an immediate return to the top flight.

The 24-year-old is quoted by BBC Sport as saying: "I believe in the plan that they have for our future here.

"Everyone in the team wants us to bounce back and I really hope that we will bounce back this season."

The Brazilian international made 16 appearances for the Welsh outfit during the previous campaign.
