Cardiff City boss Malky Mackay has praised the performance of his players following their 3-1 win over Reading this afternoon.
The promotion-chasing Bluebirds moved into third in the Championship table courtesy of goals from Joe Mason, Aron Gunnarsson and Kenny Miller.
"Some of the passing, movement and chances in the first half were sublime," said Mackay.
"I am delighted with the way we played, especially on the back of a tough game on Saturday."
Despite sitting two points off the automatic promotion places, Mackay is aware that concentrating on their own game could be key to Cardiff's hopes of a top-two finish.
"When you start looking at others then you can take your eye off the ball," he admitted.
The Welsh outfit travel to West Bromwich Albion in the FA Cup on Saturday before a Carling Cup semi-final first leg tie against Crystal Palace the following Tuesday.
