Malky Mackay has said that he will "absolutely not be resigning" from his post at Cardiff City.
The manager was reportedly told to quit or face the sack by the club's owner, Vincent Tan.
Following this lunchtime's 3-1 defeat to Liverpool, the Scot told BT Sport: "I reiterate 100% that I absolutely will not be resigning from the football club.
"I am a proud man to lead this team. Why would I want to leave? That is something you will have to ask other people."
Cardiff currently sit 15th in the Premier League table.
