Cardiff City boss Russell Slade has said that the club are looking at whether defender Juan Cala breached club rules on Twitter.
Cala reportedly tweeted that he wants to play for another club "ASAP" after featuring in just one league game all season.
Slade told reporters: "That is an internal viewpoint, whether he used it [social media] in an appropriate manner and whether he stepped over the mark. I have spoken to him.
"We spoke to his agent two to three weeks ago about his situation and it was agreed we would look to move Juan on in the January window. That's for Juan and his people to work on, probably in Spain, and that is what they are looking at"
Cala joined Cardiff from Sevilla in February, but could not prevent their relegation from the Premier League.
