Rotherham United prepare for the trip to Cardiff City this weekend knowing that continuing their poor form is simply not an option as the fixtures begin to pile up.
Steve Evans has seen his side fail to win any of their previous seven games, a run which leaves Rotherham just a point above the relegation zone ahead of their meeting with Cardiff.
A late equaliser from Steve Davies left Evans fuming as Rotherham were held to a 1-1 draw last weekend, and he will be fully aware that similar lapses of concentration will more than likely condemn his side to defeat in the Welsh capital.
An injury to Kirk Broadfoot in the first half of that game could see Kari Arnason handed a start in defence, while Alex Revell is also pushing for a recall.
Cardiff finished November with victories over Reading and Watford, leaving Russell Slade's side just two points outside the playoff places.
Owner Vincent Tan is expecting a swift return to the Premier League, and Cardiff's form in December is certain to reveal more about the strength of their promotion bid.
Slade could stick with the same side which recorded victory over Watford last weekend, but Fabio may be back in defence as a replacement for Matthew Connolly, who picked up a knock at Vicarage Road.
