Mats Moller Daehli has said that Cardiff City deserved their last-gasp equaliser against West Bromwich Albion this afternoon.
The Bluebirds were 2-0 down inside the opening 10 minutes, but fought back to earn a 3-3 draw at The Hawthorns, after the midfielder scored deep into stoppage time.
The 19-year-old told BBC Sport: "I thought we deserved the goal because we played really well in second half. I had once chance before and missed it, so I kept thinking 'I need another chance'. So I was so happy when I got it.
"The message from the manager is 'never give up' and he tells us that we earn our luck. We still believe we can stay up. It's a chance to show character and that's what we have done today."
The draw moves Cardiff up to 18th in the Premier League table, three points from safety.
