Cardiff City have insisted that Gary Medel will not be sold for less than what they paid for him last summer.
The Chile international joined the Welsh side for around £11m last year, and has been linked with a move to Inter Milan since their relegation to the Championship.
Chairman Mehmet Dalman told Wales Online: "We are not going to take a loss on a player who was a World Cup star in Brazil.
"We have made it clear what our price is and that won't change. We will do the right thing for Cardiff City and the player.
"Our position has not changed. There are clubs interested in him but we have not reached agreement with anybody so far."
Medel made 34 Premier League starts for the Bluebirds last campaign.
