Celta Vigo boss Eduardo Berizzo has refused to dampen reports linking him with a move for Valencia defender Lucas Orban.
Orban, 26, joined Valencia from Bordeaux in the summer, but has only made five appearances for Los Che this season after struggling to settle.
Berizzo has branded the centre-back "a very good and interesting player" amid suggestions that a January move could be in the offing.
"[Orban] is a player who I know well and plays in a big team, and I like him but my plans are secret," Berizzo told reporters.
"He's a very good and interesting player, who can play both in the middle and out wide and adapt to both attacking and defensive situations. He would fit into the team. Good players always fit."
Celta's 2-1 win over Sporting Gijon at the weekend saw the Spanish club return to fourth position in the La Liga table.
