Celtic have dropped into the Europa League playoffs after a 6-1 aggregate defeat to Legia Warsaw in their Champions League qualification tie at Murrayfield.
The Polish side won 2-0 on the evening thanks to goals from Michal Zyro and Michal Kucharczyk.
Zyro made the most of indecision amongst the Celtic defence to give his side the lead on 36 minutes, which left the Scottish champions requiring four goals just to take the tie to extra time.
The Pole raced beyond Virgil van Dijk and Mikael Lustig before coolly slotting past Fraser Forster in the Celtic goal to make it 5-1 on aggregate.
Their faint hopes were extinguished after the restart when Kucharczyk again punished some poor defensive work from Ronny Deila's side.
Callum McGregor and James Forrest forced Legia keeper Dusan Kuciak into decent saves late on but Celtic looked bereft of ideas throughout as they crashed out of the Champions League in disappointing fashion.
