New signing Ryan Christie has said that he "had to take" the offer of a move to Celtic.
The 20-year-old is following in the footsteps of his father Charlie Christie, who played for the Bhoys between 1987 and 1989.
"I think he was a bit stressed over the past few days, but he's delighted now it's finally gone through," Christie told reporters. "We've had a couple of chats to weigh up the pros and cons and it's definitely a move I had to take while I had the chance.
"He said he enjoyed it, although he found it hard to break in.
"Celtic was my dream club and dream move since I was a young boy. I've been a fan all my life, just through my dad."
The midfielder, who cost Celtic £500k, has been loaned back to Inverness Caledonian Thistle until the end of the season.
