Ronny Deila is confident that his Celtic team can see off challenges from Aberdeen and Inverness Caledonian Thistle en route to winning the Scottish Premiership.
The Bhoys thumped Motherwell 4-0 at Parkhead tonight to move one point clear of Aberdeen at the summit, having also played a game fewer.
It has been 30 years since either Celtic or Rangers failed to win Scotland's top flight, and Deila has no intention of surrendering that record during his reign.
"If we win the rest of the games we are champions and that's the best position we can have, even though we know there are so many games left," he told Sky Sports News.
"We will see at the end of the season whether it's a race or not."
Goals from Virgil van Dijk and Leigh Griffiths helped the hosts into a 2-0 half-time lead, before a second-half double from Mikael Lustig sealed a comprehensive win.
Deila's side face Ross County at the weekend.
