Celtic manager Neil Lennon has admitted that the club are hoping to wrap up a deal for Steven Mouyokolo after the player impressed on trial.
Defender Mouyokolo, who started for Celtic in their friendly against Sevastopol on Wednesday, is awaiting medical results before finalising a one-year deal.
"We have liked Mouyokolo for a long time," Lennon told the Daily Record. "He's had a few injury problems but has come on trial and impressed.
"Things have been agreed more or less. He's done a medical and we're just waiting on the reports coming back and if everything is okay, we'll go ahead with it."
Mouyokolo has played for Hull City and Wolverhampton Wanderers.
