Celtic manager Ronny Deila has admitted his concern that other clubs could snap up Kris Commons while the midfielder is yet to agree a new deal.
The 31-year-old's current contract with the Scottish champions expires in the summer, and Commons has been linked with Leicester City and Crystal Palace.
Deila has revealed that Glasgow club are yet to hear whether the ex-Derby County man will stay at Celtic Park and has revealed that he is worried that he could lose the player at the end of the season.
He is quoted by STV as saying: "Of course it is. We have to be ready for what is around us. It's also about doing what is right for the club and about spending money in the right way.
"Everybody has to agree with what we are doing."
