Wellington Phoenix came from behind to clinch a 2-1 win away at the Central Coast Mariners this morning, moving level with their opponents in the A-League table.
The visitors were yet to register a point going into the game, and the Mariners got off to the better start with a slice of luck.
Wellington's Thomas Doyle put the ball into his own net with just 12 minutes on the clock, though the Mariners were unable to see the half out, Michael McGlinchey levelling ten minutes before the break.
The visitors, buoyed by their equaliser, started the second half the stronger and took the lead soon after the restart, Nathan Burns finishing smartly to complete the turnaround.
The result sees both sides on three points with two games played.
