Chelsea defender Gary Cahill has admitted that his side's 4-0 win away at Maccabi Tel Aviv in the Champions League keeps the club heading in the "right direction".
Last weekend, Chelsea won just their fourth Premier League match of the season by edging past Norwich City, which was followed by an emphatic victory in Israel on Tuesday night.
Cahill opened the scoring for the Blues in the first half, and the centre-back is hopeful that the nature of the success will help rebuild confidence within the squad.
The 29-year-old told BT Sport: "It takes it into the last game but we also need to build confidence and momentum and it gets us going in the right direction."
Chelsea require a point in their final group game against Porto to progress through to the last 16 of the competition.
