Chelsea defender Gary Cahill faces a fight to be fit for the Champions League final on May 19, according to Blues boss Roberto Di Matteo.
The 26-year-old defender limped out of Tuesday's 2-2 draw with Barcelona with a thigh injury, with scans revealing serious damage to his hamstring.
"We hope, and we will try, to get him back fit as soon as possible. But at the moment, it's difficult to put a date on it – it's too early to clarify and we'll have to see how his injury improves on a daily basis. When he is going to be fit – we can't say," Di Matteo told Sky Sports News.
Chelsea face Queens Park Rangers in the Premier League on Sunday.
