Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has confirmed that striker Alvaro Morata is back in contention and could feature in the Blues' Champions League game with Roma tomorrow night.
After a strong start to his time in England with seven goals in eight games, the Spaniard suffered a setback at the end of last month as he picked up a hamstring injury during the game with Manchester City.
Morata's side went on to lose the contest 1-0 and then suffered a shock defeat to Crystal Palace in their first full game without him at the weekend.
Speaking to reporters today, Conte confirmed: "Alvaro is in contention for tomorrow's game. He has been training with us and in contention.
"I could have risked him on Saturday, but I am not so stupid. The situation is very difficult. You have to make the best decision. Tomorrow I am not taking a risk if I ask Morata to play."
Chelsea go into the game top of Group C, having won both of their matches to date.
