Antonio Conte has hailed Eden Hazard for putting in an "amazing" performance as Chelsea ran out 2-1 winners at Atletico Madrid in Wednesday night's Champions League clash.
The Blues went in at the break a goal down after Antoine Griezmann fired home a penalty in the 40th minute of the game at the Wanda Metropolitano.
Alvaro Morata, however, equalised on the hour before Michy Batshuayi scored a dramatic late winner to send the travelling fans wild.
Hazard was heavily involved in all of Chelsea's dangerous play, creating seven chances, and the Belgian's performance was subsequently lauded by Conte.
"Our performance was very good so I am very pleased for my players," the Italian told BT Sport. "When you go 1-0 down it's very difficult to come back but we continued to play very well in the second half and concentrated well.
"We deserved to win. I think we prepared for the game very well. My players showed me great desire, will and concentration. They showed we deserved to play these types of games.
"We must be very happy because Eden Hazard's performance was amazing and it was the first big game for him after his injury. His answer was fantastic and positive. He had a great link with Alvaro Morata and I am happy for Michy Batshuayi but also Willian played very well."
Chelsea have another big game to come this weekend as they host Manchester City in the Premier League on Saturday.
