Atletico Madrid's on-loan goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has claimed that parent club Chelsea are the favourites for their Champions League semi-final two-legged affair.
The Belgian international is currently in his third loan spell at Atletico from Chelsea, whom he joined from Genk in the summer of 2011.
As it stands, no official ruling prevents the 21-year-old from facing the Blues, with the first leg to come at the Vicente Calderon on Tuesday.
"Hopefully Atleti get to the final because we are so close," Courtois told UEFA's official website.
"They are favourites, but then so were Barcelona. I'm at Atletico but Chelsea is my team. It's best not to think about it too much and play as usual.
"If you think you have to be careful, in the end you'll play badly. I want to win titles here and in these two games I will be Atletico, but for others I'm Chelsea. Hopefully they win the Premier League, but not these two games."
Courtois is yet to make a first-team appearance for Chelsea.
