Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois is expecting Chelsea to be "very strong" during Wednesday's Champions League contest at Stamford Bridge.
Los Blancos will enter the first leg of the quarter-final off the back of a 2-1 victory over Celta Vigo on Saturday, while Chelsea suffered a shock 4-1 home loss to Brentford last time out.
Courtois has said that his side "lacked intensity" against Celta in La Liga and must be wary of a response from the Blues when the two teams lock horns in the European Cup.
"To win is very important," Courtois told Movistar. "Chelsea lost at home and they will be very strong on Wednesday. We lacked intensity at times and Chelsea are very good at that."
Both teams will be looking to secure a positive result in the first leg of the last-eight tie ahead of the reverse fixture at Bernabeu on April 12.
Courtois represented Chelsea between 2011 and 2018, making 170 appearances for the Premier League outfit before moving to Real Madrid.
