Paris Saint-Germain centre-back David Luiz has confirmed that he will not celebrate if he finds the net against Chelsea tomorrow night.
The 27-year-old joined the West Londoners from Benfica during the winter of 2011 and went on to help the club win the Champions League, Europa League and FA Cup.
However, last summer, the Brazilian was told by Blues boss Jose Mourinho that he was not a prominent part of his plans at Stamford Bridge, which brought about a £50m switch to the French capital.
Yet, were he to score against his former employers when they meet in the first knockout round of the Champions League, Luiz has insisted that he will act with "respect".
"Of course I want to do my best for the team. If I score, I won't celebrate, out of respect for my former teammates, but I'll be very happy," he told reporters.
Luiz has made 28 appearances for the Parisians this term, from which he has scored two goals.
